COLLEGE LIBRARY
College Library has been established in 1974 grant by the university and state government. There are various books available in the Library for the students to issue or return in a given period so that the students should get these facilities for reading them. The college library has a rich and variegated collection of over thousands books, periodical volumes, manuscripts and rare books. It subscribes to a number of print journals on Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce and Humanities, besides a number of National Dailies. There are also specialized subject collections in some faculties.
General rules
1. The library facilities are open to all bonafide students & faculties of the college. The students are advised to enrol for membership and obtain library card.
2. Students are advised to bring library cards and admit card both for borrowing and returning books. The issuance and return of books will be entered in the card and the student shall be responsible for it.
3. In case of the borrowed books being damaged or disfigured through marking, the student shall be responsible for it and they should be punishable also. Further, in case of the non- availability of the books or lost by the student shall have to replace them with new ones/the price of the book will have to be deposited.
4. Students can borrow books from the library normally for a week only. If they need them still for more, days they can get them re-issued after returning.
5. The Librarian reserves the right to ask for a return of any book/books any time on a three-day prior notice.
6. In case of the library card being lost, fresh card can be had by depositing Rs. 1/-
7. In case the borrowed book is not returned on time, a fine of 60 paise per book per day shall be realised.
8. Students are allowed to borrowed only one books at the time for intermediate and two books for degree students respectively.
9. Students are allowed to return the books necessary before the vacation of summer & festival holiday. During this period, students are not allowed to entered the library without the prior permission of principal.
10. Students should check the book before borrowing that it can be damaged or disifigured, so that students should not responsible for this.
11. Library will be open from time 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and in summer it will be from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. except Sunday & holiday
READING ROOM
There is a spacious, well-furnished reading-room with a number of open and accessible book-shelves, daily newspapers and magazine. It remains operational for teachers and students. Students are advised to avail themselves of the reading room facility.
